Home Sweet Home

I arrived home this evening just in time to make my yearly fantasy football draft. It was a close call, but I was there before the first pick was made. I'll update more fully later on my week in Nashville. I am off to bed now.

I missed my wife and kids the past few days. I am glad to be back! There really is no place like home...

Nashville Update

Today was a long day of table discussions. The 150 delegates were placed in 14 discussion groups to brainstorm practical ideas spinning from the vision our national director cast Wednesday evening in the keynote address. Although the 12 hour day of brainstorming was exhausting, it was very productive. I am hopeful for the Church of God (Anderson, IN). I really do believe a fresh wind is blowing in our movement of churches.

We will finish with three more hours of brainstorming tomorrow morning and then I'll be traveling back to West Chester. It has been time well spent.

Location: Nashville, TN

I am in Nashville, Tennessee for the Church of God (Anderson, IN) strategic planning and visioning conference. This event is designed to clarify the national vision for our movement of churches. I am one of 150 delegates who have been invited to spend a few days dreaming for and clarifying the future. I am honored to be in this historical moment.

Journey Church is in full preparation mode for the fall ministry season. It has been a tremendous summer and I am pumped for the fall. The Journey team is fully prepared to re-plant our foot back on the gas. I cannot wait to see what God has in store!

Back On The Horse

After taking most of the summer off from blogging, I am ready to get back at it. I wasn't too consistent up to that point and have decided to get back in the daily groove. Stay tuned for more content here in the days ahead!
